Skeptics Of Carlos – First Edition

Taking as its inspiration, the Skeptics’ Circle (origins can be found on the Circular Reasoning Site) – the Skeptics of Carlos Australian Blog Circle intends to:

Host a monthly carnival for bloggers who apply critical thought to questionable stories.

What is slightly different is that we hope to encourage authors to submit articles to:

Like the Skeptics’ Circle, it intends to be apolitical but will encourage entries on: mysteries, the paranormal, pseudoscience, frauds, urban legends, scams, untested medical claims, historical revisionism, creationism and intelligent design claims.

Preference is for Australian writers but we will allow for overseas contributors.

Our first hosting will occur here on the 13th of May, 2008. If there is significant interest, we will encourage submitting blogs to be hosts for each edition.

Please send entries to: skepticsofcarlos@gmail.com.
